# Get Task Count

> Count open/in-progress tasks for nav badges and page-level indicators.

``location_ids`` (``locationIds`` on the wire) only scopes ``linked.call``
by ``Call.location_id``, so the Calls nav badge can match a location-filtered
call list without changing the total tasks badge.
