# Force Release Tip Display

> Force-release a tip display that is stuck as 'in use by another checkout'.

Publishes a SUBSCRIBER_LEFT message via Pub/Sub so all pods clear the stale
checkout connection state, and disconnects any local checkout WebSocket.
