# Refer a Clinic

> Share Decoda with another clinic and earn $1,000 when they become a paying customer.

Know another clinic that would get a lot out of Decoda? Share your referral link with them. When a clinic you refer signs up and completes their first paid month, you earn **\$1,000**.

**Where to find it:** Click your profile in the top right, then choose **Refer a Clinic**.

## How it works

    Copy your personal link from the **Refer a Clinic** page and send it to a clinic that would be a good fit.

    Our team walks them through Decoda and helps them get set up.

    Once the clinic completes their first paid month, your reward becomes payable.

## Your referral link

Your link is unique to you. Anyone who books a demo through it is tied to your account, so you don't need to do anything extra to get credit. Use the **Copy link** button to copy it, then share it by email, text, or however you like.

  The link is meant for clinics that are new to Decoda. There's nothing to enter or set up -- the referral is tracked for you the moment they book.

## Tracking your referrals

The **Refer a Clinic** page lists every clinic you've referred, along with the date they booked their demo and where they are in the process. Each referral moves through these stages:

| Status                | What it means                                                     |
| --------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Demo booked**       | They've scheduled a demo through your link.                       |
| **Became a customer** | They've signed up with Decoda.                                    |
| **Payout eligible**   | They've completed their first paid month -- your reward is ready. |
| **Paid**              | Your \$1,000 reward has been paid out.                            |
| **Not eligible**      | This referral didn't qualify (for example, an existing customer). |
| **Expired**           | The referral wasn't completed within the qualifying window.       |

## Your earnings

At the top of the page you'll see three running totals:

* **Pending** -- rewards for clinics that have booked or signed up but haven't finished their first paid month yet.
* **Eligible for payout** -- rewards that are ready to be paid.
* **Paid out** -- rewards you've already received.
