# Online Shop

> Choose what patients can buy online and understand how mixed purchases, promotions, and prepaid services work.

The online shop lets patients buy gift cards, packages, services, products, and medications in one purchase. Items are grouped by category, so patients can browse related offerings together instead of switching between separate lists.

## Choose what patients can buy

An active service, product, or medication appears in the shop when it has a positive **Price** and **Show in Checkout** is on. Services must also be visible to patients and available for online booking. Packages and gift cards can be shown or hidden under **Settings** → **Brand** → **Shop**.

Use [Categories](/modules/settings/categories) to control how services, products, medications, and packages are grouped. When items share the same name, the shop shows one option instead of repeating it.

## Show promotions

Active automatic promotions appear with the matching items. Featured offers also appear in the **Promotions** section at the top of the shop, while the same items remain available in their normal categories.

The patient sees the discounted price before adding an item to the cart. Eligible discounts are confirmed again when payment is prepared. See [Promotions](/modules/settings/promotions) to create and manage offers.

## Complete a mixed purchase

Patients can add different item types to the same cart and pay once for the full order. When a physical or taxable purchase needs a clinic location, the shop asks the patient to choose one before payment.

After payment, the patient sees one confirmation for the full order. Gift cards and packages are added to the appropriate patient accounts, while products and medications follow your clinic's normal pickup or fulfillment process.

## Book a purchased service

A service bought through the shop is prepaid and added to the patient's account. The confirmation page includes **Book your purchased service** so the patient can continue to scheduling with the purchased service already selected. The prepaid service is applied during booking so the patient is not charged for it again.

Package and prepaid service purchases must be paid by card. ACH is not available because the purchased benefits can be used immediately.
