Where to find it: Click Billing in the sidebar. The Billing page lets patients view saved payment methods and active memberships. Depending on your patient portal permissions, patients may also add payment methods, remove payment methods, choose a default payment method, or browse memberships.

Payment methods

The Payment Methods section shows saved cards and bank accounts. A Default badge marks the payment method used by default. Patients can take these actions only when the matching permission is on:
  • + Add Card or Add Payment Method — add a saved card or bank account.
  • Set as default — make a saved payment method the default.
  • Remove action — remove a saved payment method.
If adding payment methods is off and the patient has no saved payment methods, the page tells them to contact the clinic.

Active memberships

The Active Memberships section shows each active membership with its status, billing frequency, next billing date, and payment method. When View memberships is on, patients can click Browse All or Browse Memberships to open the Memberships page. When it is off, active memberships still appear in Billing, but patients do not get membership browsing links.
