Available widgets
You decide which of these appear on the patient’s dashboard, in what order, and how wide each one is.| Widget | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Calendar | A month calendar that highlights appointment days. Selecting a day shows that day’s visits. If the patient has no upcoming visits, a Book Appointment button takes its place. |
| Upcoming Appointments | A short list of the next few visits with date, time, provider, and location. |
| Next Appointment | A highlighted banner for the very next visit, including a countdown. |
| Forms | Pending and completed forms, with a tab switch between the two. Patients open a form to fill it out or to view the answers they submitted. |
| Quick Actions | Shortcuts to common tasks — book an appointment, complete a form, view appointments, update profile. Patients can edit which actions appear in this widget. Book Appointment appears only when Book appointments is on, and Update Profile appears only when Edit profile is on. |
| Recent Visits | A list of past appointments, most recent first. |
| My Memberships | Active membership plans with their key benefits. Hidden when View memberships is off. |
| Billing | The patient’s upcoming billing cycle and recent charges. Membership details appear only when View memberships is on. |
| Credit Balance | Account credit available to use against future charges. |
| Insurance | Insurance carrier and member ID on file. |
| Pre-Visit Checklist | A preparation checklist for the next visit. |
| Visit Summary | The patient’s visit count and engagement summary for the year. |
| Measurements | Recent measurement readings configured to show in the portal. |
Customize the dashboard
Where to find it: Go to Settings > Patient Portal. The Layout tab is open by default. The Layout tab shows a preview of the patient dashboard. Use it to arrange widgets:Resize a widget
Use the size switch in each widget’s header to set its width: 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, or Full.
Hide a widget
Click the eye icon in a widget’s header. The widget moves into the Hidden Widgets section below the preview.
Show a hidden widget
Find it in Hidden Widgets and click Add. It returns to the dashboard at the end of the visible list.
The same layout is shared by every patient at your clinic. There is no per-patient layout. The exception is the Quick Actions widget, where each patient can pick their own shortcuts.
