Medication Labels

Print a pharmacy-style label for a medication dose — with the clinic details, patient details, and directions — on your label printer. Each time you print, the label is saved to the dose so you have a record and can reprint the exact same label later.
This is available when the Label Printing feature is turned on for your clinic. Only staff who can edit doses see the Print Label option.
  1. Open the patient’s note and find the dose in the Dose Log.
  2. Click the dose’s actions menu (three-dot icon) and choose Print Label.
  3. Review the label. Fields are filled in from the dose, patient, and clinic where we have the information.
  4. Choose the Clinic location from the dropdown. The clinic name, address, and phone on the label come from the location you pick. It starts on the location where the dose was given.
  5. Adjust any fields as needed, then click Print Label. Your label printer opens with the label, and a Label printed message confirms it was saved.

See That a Label Was Printed

After printing, the dose row shows a green Label printed badge with the date. Hover over it to see the full date.

Reprint the Same Label

Open Print Label again on the same dose. The window reopens with the details from the last label you printed, so you can print an exact copy.
