Prerequisites: Connect your Fullscript account first from Settings > Personal > Fullscript. The Supplements tab only appears when the Fullscript feature is enabled for your organization.
The Supplements tab on a patient’s chart shows every Fullscript recommendation you’ve made for that patient and whether they’ve ordered the products. You build recommendations in Fullscript without leaving Decoda, and the list updates on its own as patients place orders.

What the List Shows

Each row is one recommendation, with three columns:
  • Created — the date the recommendation was made.
  • Products — the recommended supplements and quantities.
  • Status — where the recommendation stands:
When a patient hasn’t been linked to Fullscript yet, the tab reads No Fullscript recommendations for this patient yet. If your account isn’t connected, it shows a Link Fullscript account button instead.

Create a Recommendation

1

Open the builder

On the patient’s Supplements tab, click New recommendation. A panel opens with the Fullscript catalog inside Decoda.
2

Build it in Fullscript

Search the catalog, add products, and set dosages just as you would in Fullscript.
3

Send it

Send the recommendation. The panel can be closed once you’re done — the new recommendation appears in the list on its own.
The first time you send a recommendation for a patient, Decoda links that chart to the matching Fullscript patient, so future recommendations and orders show up here automatically.

View Recommendation Details

Click any row to open its details, which show:
  • The product list, each with its dosage. Once a patient has ordered, each product is marked as ordered or not, with a count of how many were ordered (for example, 2 of 3 ordered).
  • The Order (or Orders) placed against the recommendation, with order number, total, and items. A recommendation with no orders reads Not yet ordered.
Use the options menu (the icon next to New recommendation) to Unlink from Fullscript — disconnect this chart from its Fullscript patient. This option appears only once the chart is linked. There is nothing to refresh by hand. When a chart is first linked, Decoda pulls that patient’s existing recommendations and orders in, and after that the list updates on its own whenever a recommendation is sent or an order is placed.
Unlinking hides this patient’s recommendations from the chart until you link again. Sending a new recommendation re-links the chart, and the recommendations and orders come back with it.
